My cousin Kaori and her husband Koichi are crazy dog lovers like me. They have an adorable Welsh Corgi named Sakura, which means cherry blossom in Japanese.

Corgis are well known because they are the favorite dogs of Queen Elizabeth II. According to the official Web site of the British Monarchy, the Queen has nine dogs: five Corgis and four Dorgis — which are a blend of Corgi and Dachshund.

Corgis are known for being athletic, intelligent, and having big personalities despite their small size.

You get the sense from this photo that Kaori and Koichi’s dog, Sakura, is the mistress of the house. I hope Sammy Sanchez and Lola will have a chance to meet her one day!
