Why does the universe need another blog? Because this one is about dogs and the funny things they do!
The mission of my blog is to share amusing photos and stories about dogs. I’ll be writing a lot about my two best pals, Lola and Sammy Sanchez. I have lots of friends with dogs, too, so they’ll make occasional appearances on the site.
Here is the inaugural photo for doggysmut.com. I think it’s fitting considering the domain name my friend suggested.

This is a photo of Sammy Sanchez, our three-year old Yorkshire Terrier. He’s got blonde hair and a silver stripe that runs down his back.
Like most Yorkies, Sammy Sanchez is a bit of a wack job but he is very lovable. For example, he loves doing the laundry, which I now refer to as “laundry patrol.” As soon as he sees me packing up cart with clothes and sheets, Sammy starts running for the front door. I learned that if I leave him behind, he will bark and bark and bark. So now, he accompanies me to the basement. He’s become familiar with the routine, and senses when it’s time to move the clothes from the washing machines to the dryers. We haven’t figured out what it is about doing the laundry, but Sammy always has to take part.
Sammy is quite active for a little dog. But as you can see, when he sleeps, he sleeps real hard.
